One of the best known surfing beaches in the UK, and at times one of the busiest - popular with surfers of all standards. The beach receives plenty of swell. Low tide tends to produce the faster hollow waves but it’s surfable through all tides with peaks the whole length of the beach. The more experienced surfers tend to favour in front of the rocks at North Fistral and the corner at South. On a good day if you blow your first take off here you may as well look for another peak as you won’t get a second look. |
